Add Videos from the Web to your Media Browser Server!

 

 

The latest update to Media Browser Chrome Companion includes the ability to add your favorite web videos to Media Browser. This new functionality requires that you have the Video Bookmarks plugin installed on your Media Browser server.

  1. Navigate to the video source page (on Youtube, Vimeo, etc.). Click on the Chrome Companion plugin

  2. Click the Find Videos tab (video icon on the bottom right).

  3. Click the plus symbol.

  4. Put in a name for your video (and an image URL if you wish.)

  5. The video will now be available in Media Browser’s Video Bookmark Channel.

I have added the new media browser companion to chrome, then I go to you tube while watching a music video I click on the media browser icon in chrome then down to the video camera as shown in the pics above click on the video camera and get the message below:

 

"Please install the Video Bookmarks plugin on the server in order to add videos from this page"

Where do I get the plugin and how do install it on the server ?

Thanks for update but could possible for Firefox? Chrome is the browser that has less privacy, compared to Firefox.

There are people like me who never use Chrome.
