Media Browser for Android updated with Camera Upload

Version 2.2.10 of the app has been published to stores and now includes support for automatic camera image uploading.

 

Stay tuned for mobile sync coming soon to Android.

Automatic Camera Image Uploading

 

You'll notice the Devices section has a Camera Upload tab. Camera upload allows automatic uploading of images from your smartphones and tablets. It's easy! Just enable the devices you'd like to use it for, and voila!

 

Then go out and take some pictures, and when you come home the images will begin uploading. It's a fully automated feature. All of our mobile apps will be updated soon to support this.

If you like, you can even specify a custom upload path for each device to keep albums separated.

Very nice!  Great work MB3 team, I'm looking forward to trying it out.  

 

A few future enhancement requests:

1. Allow upload by either date taken or current date

2. All the MB3 to create a folder "by date" while the pictures are uploading

3. Allow pictures to upload over any Wi-fi network - great way to back up photos during the trip

When is the app going to be updated on the Amazon App Store? There hasn't been an update there since Dec. 31st, 2014.

This is wonderful feature i was wondering will you in future add a folder so that we can view those pictures using various apps ?

I agree with Tharnax.  Self organizations by month and year would be great!
