We are happy to announce that a new version of the Windows Store app is now available for download.

 

So what is new in this version?

 

First off:

The "Resume" and "Resume On" funtionality has changed.

We have now removed the resume button and resume to buttons.

If a movie has the possiblity to resume, a flyout is presented with the options of either "Play" or "Resume".

 

PlayTo, when you've decided that you wan't to watch a movie on another device the app will now Auto-navigate to the RemoteControl view

 

Other changes:

 

Support for LargeTile

Added logo image to remote view

Musicgenre thumbs now load

Videogenre thumbs, correct format

Turned off "Display text on posters" by default

Turned off "Use mediabrowser for Lockscreen" by default.

Added logo-image to several of the details-views

Well Done.. One thought/suggestion if you don't mind.. when you click on Movies all looks well until you get to Genres.. the Images are in Landscape instead of Portrait and they look a bit out of place IMO where the rest of the movie covers have a portrait view.. any chance you would consider changing that or making it an option? Love the app though.

Just updated my MB 8.1 app today to find Genre's now in portrait... YAY! Awesome! Thank You
