The ip address is the IP of the PC that the PlayOn Server is located.

You do not need to pay for it to work there is a 14 day trial. Can you add your server log to the thread thats about the issue.

I keep getting the following error:

The media player you are using is not supported by PlayOn.

I tried Amazon and Cartoon Network.

I am able to play the video from the PlayOn app on my iPhone.

Any suggestions?

I am using Media Browser Version 3.0.5309.26857

I have version 1.0.0.6 of the plugin

I am using Chrome

So with this one could finally watch through PlayOn on their PC (this has previously been un-available)?

PlayOn is ALMOST always having a sale. I suggest you be patient and keep checking their site. To me, the only worthwhile option is the Lifetime license. With PlayOn, you can stream dozens of feeds directly to your Roku, phone, Xbox, PS, etc. There is a small, $10 extra charge to stream in HD though.

I didn't get any content.

Then in PlayOn settings I changed the server address to "localhost" (since it is on the same machine as MBS), and then set the cache to 2. That fixed things.,

Hmmm. Just double-checking here, but you do have the PlayOn server running and validated on the machine right?

No. Sorry. Just realized this. (embarrassed grin) I thought the plug-in covered that. I was just looking for a trial version, but I see one has to buy it first.

Not to worry. I made the exact same error! :D

PlayOn has a thirty day refund guarantee if you want to just try it.

OK the error I am getting states I need a valid play on license. I have a valid playon license... My play on server is on a separate dedicated to play on machine. So I have that IP entered in the plugin settings. Playon is the latest version, and show is it fully licensed (Play on, Play Later, and HD)

Whats up???

I'd restarted the server a couple times before posting (both PlayOn Server and MediaBrowser) - For anyone else having this problem the solution appeared to be related to the fact that my PlayOn was installed as part of PlayLater. I uninstalled PlayLater, installed PlayOn, then installed PlayLater. and it seems to be working.

I have paid for the playOn through my paypal, yet I am getting Unable to connect to remote server.

I have installed and reinstalled several times same issueI.

I see that some have this working, do I need to instal "PlayLater (PL)" as mentioned in this blog, where do I find the PL plug in
