Guest
Today I integrated my Music into Media Browser. But I have a weird issue that it doesn't download Album Art although there is Album Art available on Fanart.tv. My whole Music is corrct tagged with MusicBrainz Id's (And XBMC which I'm also using don't have this problem) Artist Primary Pics and Backdrops working fine...just Album Art ist missing
Guest
Ok, I looked now at the metadata and it seems, that MB doesn't get the MusicBrainz Album ID from the files. But like I said, XBMC does and has no problem to extract the MusicBrainz Album ID from the File Tags and find the correct Album Art. Am I doing something wrong? Beardyname 194
btw we can see your no-ip adress in the bottom left of your 2nd image (Just a friendly reminder) For your other issue, is the metadata already available in the folders ? You could try the "identify" on a couple of the album's but it looks like I't can't read the info from the files.
Guest
Hi, thx for the reminder...now it's to late to reverse the no-ip adresse Doesn't matter.. If I klick on "identify" it seems to work. but I can't do this manually for more than 2000 Albums

somy 24
Does MBS use embedded tags and cover art in the music files?
Guest
Top level in this case is your Music Folder Thx for reply, but this also don't work for me I'll try now a complete rebuild of the database and write back then...
Ghostm 74
Complete shot in the dark that might not have anything to do with it but after music i typically have the artist level then the songs. I notice yours goes from music to 01- bands und something, then to the artists (acdc). If mb3 would have any issues with that folder level system for music I am unsure. Guest
"01- Bands und Kuenstler" is just the Folder in which all my Music is stored, I think your music is also stored in some folder but maybe with a different naming One Subfolder more shouldn't be the issue. Other Programms also don't have problems with that. If MediaBrowser have such problems it will be useless for me... The File structure in this folder is like yours. - Artist (Folder) -- Album (Folder) --- Tracks (Files) Edited August 28, 2014 by CM000n
Beardyname 194
Nope as long as you added \\server\01- Bands und Kuenstler\Artist As your File Structure (which based on your reply and example you have)
FrostByte 5049
Actually, that's not what he has. If you see his posted picture he has another subfolder in there, though I'm not sure that's what is causing his problem he could try moving an artist or two up to the folder "Musik" to match what's in http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/674-library-structure/&do=findComment&comment=21480 just to test it out and see if it helps

Guest
Are the album, song title, artist, and album artist in your id3 tags also correct? I tagged everything with MusicBrainz Picard..so it should be ok. Like I said, XBMC found the most of the albums...
Luke 37045
if you view the individual songs in the editor do they have music brainz info?
Guest
if you view the individual songs in the editor do they have music brainz info? Not in the MediaBrowser Metadata Editor. But when I look at the files diectly, they have I exported now my XBMC Database with the pictures to the music folders and MediaBrwoser takes them now as album covers. But it still doesn't get the Album Info and the Album Art by itself...weird

Guest
Mhmm, I don't think it's a good idea to upload a file which has compyright restrictions Or what did you mean with "provide"?
Luke 37045
you can pm it to me. its purely for development purposes. you can also create an ffprobe json dump for me http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7708373/get-ffmpeg-information-in-friendly-way which is better than nothing, although i won't be able to test it.
