Bohemi 3
Is there a way to setup MB3 server in such a way that my system still will go to sleep when there is no activity?
Deihmos 147
Enable sleep on your PC. It will sleep when there is no activity.
Bohemi 3
Strange, I had MB3 disabled and at the same time the PC went for a sleep over and over again, this morning started MB3 again and now the PC won't go to sleep modus. (already 7 hours)
Deihmos 147
open command prompt with admin rights and use the command "powercfg requests". I have no trouble sleeping with mediabrowser. Are you using windows 8? Edited August 30, 2014 by Deihmos
Bohemi 3
When I look at the powercfg request, there states that recently the system is reached by a client. I also looked into the logfiles from my DVBlink server software and it looks like the system went for a sleep a few times but is waking up after 5 minutes again, only this night the Server was a sleep the whole time ....this when the family was sleeping and all client PC's in the network were also in sleep . I think all the network drive links for multimedia are triggering the server PC when clients are in use, also when there is no specific user request to the server.
