Can't play to Roku if another device is already playing a file

I noticed that while my dad is watching a movie at his house using the MediaBrowser iPad app (assuming transcoding is involved) I can't start a video on my roku, when I select the file it immediately exits the video. As soon as I kick him off I can play a file just fine.

It seems like I have seen a topic about this before, but I cannot find it again.

I don't have any issues with this under the same type of circumstances. Does your Dad have his own user for MB?

If I recall 2 separate transcode files should be generated with 2 separate "viewers". In this case it sounds like you are both sharing the same transcode stream which is causing the problems.

Do you happen to have your server logs for the event?

We use 2 separate login's, so that shouldn't be the issue. I don't have any logs, but it is easily repeatable so I will try and get some logs together.
