benelevi 0
Dear All, I run into an issue since the latest update of MB Classic version 3.0.207.0, i am using mb classic under windows media center playing blurry movies with TMT5, the playback starts ok however every 5 seconds the windows task bar is flashing (comes up and disappears), i am using the same setup and with the previous version of mb classic i did not have this issue. Please note that i did not make any changes at all, everything is the same, only the mb classic has updated itself and since than i have this issue. Besides that i love this software, it is a great tool for HTPC. For me the solution is also to go back and use the previous version, however i cannot find it. Please help me from where i could download it, or what could be the solution for the latest version. Thank you in advance for your help, Best regards, Levente
ebr 14862
I don't think this is us. If the task bar is flashing up that means some program is trying to get your attention or is grabbing focus for some reason. Is one of the icons on the task bar "lit up" at the same time? dbailey75 2
I'm having the same problem, and I'm not running Media Browser, it started after the latest windows update, its the only change I can come up with, my HTPC's are fairly stable, with Windows updates being on the only changes. Both of my HTPC's are doing this when running TMT 5.XXX (last verion before cinvia), only happens with TMT, no issues with MCE. update: Been messing around with it this morning, and it happens when using both the MCE integrated player and the standalone player, its driving me bonkers. ebr 14862
What codecs do you have installed? Perhaps one of those interfaces is calling for attention...
dbailey75 2
no codecs on either PC, just TMT, MCE, nothing to crazy, one system is running nvida drivers and the other is Intel HD graphics. I've posted over at arcsoft, but I'm sure they'll tell me to upgrade, which is not an option. EBR, don't put any time, into this completely unrelated to MB, was just posting here as this was on the only thread I could find with the same issue, maybe some one smarter than me can figure this out. I've been looking to change my setup any how, and it might finally be time, but it's been running great for almost 3 years. Just an FYI, removing KB2977629, seems to have fixed the problem, but while tracking this all down, we found out the TMT is going away, it will be no more.
