In my case, I have two tuners for PCIe Dual Haugpauge ClearQAM tuners and 6 x InfiniTV ETH for CableCard. Ideally, I'd only like to be able to "Play"/placeshift the Haugpauge ClearQAM and only allow recording of DRM channels (no play possible). Is this possible? I can only seem to reset the tuner vs select it. Also, the hide DRM channels option doesn't seem to work for my Time Warner Cable San Diego Cablecard tuners. krustyreturns 191 Posted September 19, 2014 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Interesting. So live tv only happens on the clearQAM and timers only get set on the cetons (TWC). As in the other thread, MBS currently does not have a way to make a channel recordable but not playable and vice versa.
