Nachtbrnger 0
I have been using the dashboard preview and am able to play movies trough Media Browser and see all the movies I am sharing. Now since I am Dutch i mosly use subtitels for most of the stuff I am watching (also for anime) but is there a way to watch the subtiles trough DNLA? Since it's pretty important. gsnerf 26
I haven't had the luck to get in the DLNA version of the preview so I can't guarantee this is correct, but usually the basic DLNA players that browse content on DLNA servers don't know how to query subtitle information. As far as I know this is not part of the DLNA spec so there is no standartized way to do so. If you initiate the stream from mediabrowser side though (through the webinterface either directly on xbox one or through a mobile device) you should be able to change audio language as well as subtitles. They should then be "burned in" by the transcoding process and send to the player.

Soultaker 225
Is there a step-by-step guide on this? I've very interested in having subtitles on my xbox one.
Happy2Play 8242
Don't have an xbox one, but has anyone tried adding subs to xbox one profile? Dashboard-DLNA-Profiles-(system unless you already have custom) Xbox One-Info-Subtitle Profiles-add Format Method Didl mode If you are modifying the system profile it will automatically save a custom profile when you hit save. Luke 37007
there should be no step by step guide required apart from our general subtitle guides. For xbox one it's all handled by the profile. Currently it has no entries which means all subtitles will force transcoding to burn them in. If this isn't working then we need someone with the technical know how and an Xbox one to help debug and resolve it.
