Resume and skip forward weird behavior

I have not been using the Android client for a while, but have now started using it again on my Sony Xperia SP running Android 4.3.

If playback gets interrupted by e.g. a phone call and I try to resume after completing the call, I will get video but no audio. If I then interrupt the resumed playback to start from the beginning of the video and attempt to skip forward to the point I would normally have resumed from, the playback time progress bar will show the selected point in the video, but playback will insist on starting from the beginning and I get no audio.

From this point there is absolutely no way to get back to the point in the video where it was first interrupted. Restarting the phone will not help, clearing the app cache will not help.

It seems that somehow the resume check points stored on the server have been messed up. How do I clear this so that I can get back to the correct point in the video?

I've tested this under the current beta. It's handled better. When a phone call is received, the player stops and returns to the details screen. Pressing the play button again will present the choice to play from the beginning, or from the last reported position. Assuming the playback progressed far enough for the server to record the current playback position. In testing this, I also discovered a bug where audio playback would continue during the phone call. That is also fixed.

You have to wait. The next public release is frustratingly close.

It's killing me :(  I want nothing more that to close this chapter and move on to the next group of features.
