mswguitar 1
I have a TV series where I just dump all of the files into one directory. The episodes are named properly and everything was working fine. However, after the last update (I believe), it will only show the episodes if they are in their own Season XX folder. Here's the folder: This is how MB looks now: I tested by creating a folder for one of the seasons and putting the episodes in there and it shows up: Did something change with the latest release that doesn't allow TV to show unless they are in their own season folder? Looney Tunes has over 60 seasons on TheTVDB so I'd rather not create/manage one folder per season.

shimscharf 0
Hi, Likewise, All my TV shows are not showing unless they are in "Season x" folder. Or, If I change the library type to movies. Despite correct naming convention: show name sXXeXX episode name.mkv To clarify: It does appear on webClient interface, but is not server to all 3 DLNA clients. Luke 36999
I just tested this scenario with DLNA and it worked as expected. I tested with the following Folder - Dead Like Me File - Dead Like Me so1e01.mkv It showed up fine in both the web interface and dlna
Redshirt 1487
I think the issue here is the 4 digit seasons, not the folder structure.
Luke 36999
Ok well in the upcoming release our movie file naming support has been overhauled to match everything Kodi supports. In the next release cycle we'll do the same for TV, so as long as you're doing something that other people do, chances are it will get resolved. You can see everything Kodi supports here: http://kodi.wiki/view/Naming_video_files/TV_shows Everything listed in that link will be combined with what we support now. shimscharf 0
Actually for me it is only the folder structure that makes a difference. When I had them all in the parent folder, it didn't work. When I created a subdirectory called "season 1" and moved the same files into it (as in screen shot) it works. I even tried renaming the files (like the first one), but didn't make any difference. Edited November 24, 2014 by shimscharf
Spaceboy 2492
I have the looney tunes collection in my library, using the 4 digit season numbers. Also Tom and Jerry in the same format. No problems here but I put them in season folders
