MBT LiveTV, a way to remove - getting an unexpected error has occurred

MBT has the new Live TV option at the top on the bar.. does anyone know of a way to disable items from showing up there..

 

In my case, when i hit this entry, it throws an error.. "an unexpected error has occurred".. sometimes when using the remote the button/prompt gets hidden and sent to the back so you cant get rid of it short of switching to a mouse.

 

I've read other reports on what the error could mean, have even gone down that route of a reinstall.. at least on my machine it seems to be just the act of hitting that "LiveTV" entry.. hoping there is a way to disable it for now.

I've attached the log file.. the most recent trigger of this error was 10-15 around 11:51 am or so.

 

This is with media browser theater 3.0.5399.34605 (on win 7 x64) and server v3.0.5395.0

 

On the server under live tv, i see service: serverWMC.. status unavailable.. I do notice that i had installed the serverWMC plugin on the server, but i dont use it per say.  I tried removing the plugin from the server then re-testing, i still get the same error on Live TV and on the server under Live TV i still see service: ServerWMC despite removing the plugin.

can  you post the mbt log? you can find it under users\appdata

Attached is the log file.. strangely (or maybe appropriately now), i guess since removing the server plugin, the live tv menu choice is gone, however, almost immediately when i opened mbt and when to scroll to the right on the main menu I still got the same error... i think in the log file it might be near " Error getting movie view "..
