Jaster91 7
Hi there I'm testing all the functionality of MB3 against WMC standard functions. Actually on Ripped DVD stored in the HDD i can't change the subtitles language or select audio stream if more than one is present. It happens also in MB3 win 8,1 app. That's an out of the box functions of WMC, how does it possible, if it is, to enable it on MB3 (classic, thaeter and win 8 app)? Changing audio track it's possible instead in MediaBrower via "Browser" but not the subtiltes Another little issue that i've noticed is that after installing MB3 I cannot access to the orginal "movies" menu of WMC, It is disappeared from the WMC menu. Maybe there's some flag to be set. Thanks in advance for support
ebr 14910
To my knowledge, WMC doesn't have any interface for switching audio or subtitle streams other than the DVD menu structure (or a third-party solution). How do you do this outside of MB? We don't remove the "Movies" item from the WMC menu. We just add our own strip.
Jaster91 7
Hi, in WMC (win 8.1 pro) when a DVD rip is managed in the movie library it's possible to select audio track or subitile by pressing the right mouse button during play and by selecting it in the appropriate tab The DVD must by stored obviously in its former video_ts structure Here print screen Is it possibile to do so on MB3 on actual or further release? ebr 14910
Hmmm... Okay, I've never been able to make that work in my system. I guess due to the way I ripped those old video_ts structures. I never rip to those anymore though. You can select the option in the config page "Playback" tab to "Disable Custom Interface for DVD Rips" and that will get you back your standard WMC interface for those. Latchmor 584
Yes this is standard ebr as I used it all the time. Still do now and again but I'm in the middle of converting all my rips to mkvs. OP says press right mouse but it works with info button on remote also. All my rips have menus removed and are saved as individual episodes/movies but it still works as it looks at whatever streams are in the vobs. You switch subs on/off the same way.
