allen00se 18
About to buy 2 of these, hopefully MB gets on FireTV at some point, at $19 with better stats than the Chrome Stick, it seems like a no brainer. http://amzn.com/B00GDQ0RMG
meatrack 5
Yup, I bought one too. A couple of these around the house with MB is basically a dream come true.
CBers 6742
Isn't the Chromecast2 due to be released soon? http://m.techradar.com/news/television/google-chromecast-2-is-on-its-way-1269607 . Edited October 27, 2014 by CBers
meatrack 5
From the link you just posted: "No plans for big announcement on this one. Mostly because it will have the same features as the original and most users won't notice a difference. Sorry--I can't say more about this topic," said a memeber of the team. mediacowboy 438
Just bought one as well. Mine should be in by the end of the year so maybe we will get MB by then.
z31fanatic 6
For $19, why the hell not? I ordered two.
z31fanatic 6
I couldn't wait until Dec 18 so I went and picked one up at Best Buy today. It works just like the FTV. We are able to sideload apps so first thing I did was install Kodi 14. I tried a bluray rip (10GB size) and it played smoothly which was pretty surprising to me. My router is not a great one. It's an Actiontec provided by Verizon and I don't get great reception in the second floor where the FTV Stick is. So far so good. Next I will see how it works with Prime videos and Netflix.
