ebr 14913
i dont have access to that at the moment , doesnt the error log give you what you need ? Sorry, no. It is from a different program than the one you are having the problem with. Plus, whenever WMC shuts down an application, we don't get a chance to log anything about that. So that is why I need the Windows Event Log error as well. Thanks.

PeterMaslin 0
the only error in the event log when re-creating the error I can find is this one . Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
ebr 14913
Are you looking in the right section? Will be under "Applications and Services Logs"/"MediaCenter". It could be listed as an informational message as opposed to an error.
