speechles 1917
1) When playing music via the now playing screen. Cannot remote play video to the roku while it is displaying this screen. It will always start to buffer, then immediately kicks back to the now playing screen 2) The now playing screen has #FFFFFF cruft at beginning of the song title being played. 3) Subtitles and Audio. This menu works incorrectly when there are both subtitles and multiple audio tracks to choose from. It lets you choose audio or subtitle, and then immediately goes back defaulting to the top selection. There is no way to choose anything. 4) Create an option globally to choose if DTS-HD or DTS entirely should convert to AC3 for those using roku3 this will avoid always passthrough and transcode the audio. You will get sound then. I have this problem presently I have DTS, but not DTS-HD support. 5) Add "play from here" option for tv-series at the episode level. This will play a season from the episode point to the end of the season without manual intervention. For marathon viewing, children, etc.. #1 is just annoying. It's easy to fix by using remote control to just move off that screen then you can play video. No big deal. #2 is also simply annoying. No big deal. #3 is more than annoying. Its frustrating, and several others have made threads about this, in particular here is the most recent: http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/12082-nowtvroku-issue-with-multiple-audio-tracks/ #4 is for added simplicity and reduces issues regarding "no audio" from appearing as threads. #5 has been asked for by others. I also would like to see this feature evolve somehow because it eliminates interaction which reduces comfort level and WAF. @@Luke, I can help submit pulls for some of this stuff possibly. These are the most glaring issues I see at the moment every single day. They aren't deal breakers but fixing these improves customer comfort level, which improves customer loyalty, which in turn raises the WAF. Luke 37022
Great. Start with #2. #4 can be done in a better way though.
Koleckai Silvestri 1150
#1 Remember Server and User selected when the option to do so is selected. Getting a lot of complaints from the family because the server connection has to be established every time you enter the channel from the Roku home screen.
