jhoff80 87
I had just assumed that the menu that appears when you mouseover a show, episode, movie, etc. just didn't work on Internet Explorer. However, I noticed today that it works on IE11 on Windows 7. However, it doesn't work on IE11 on Windows 8. (Well, 8.1 with all newest updates). Not sure if that's just a user-agent thing or something, but thought I should point it out. Edited May 16, 2014 by jhoff80
techywarrior 688
What's even better is that I have two W8.1.1 computers. In IE11 on one the mouse over popups work. In the other it doesn't. All settings appear to be the same on both....
AdrianW 1052
I had the same problem - it turned out that Logitech Setpoint software was to blame. It was actually my logitech trackpad that was the issue - I went into the Unifying software and unpaired the trackpad, and then the mouseover slide-in panels started working again. techywarrior 688
Hm, well the one that doesn't work has a Synaptics touchpad and a touch screen. It's certainly possible that the Synaptics software (or even the touchscreen support in Win8? is causing a conflict) since the working IE computer doesn't have either of those. On the other hand, the working computer has the Logitech software (the unified software that replaced SetPoint)
jhoff80 87
Ah, that's a good point. My main PC is a Surface Pro 2, so it's probably the touch part that's the problem for me. Just tried it for the first on my 8.1 HTPC and it is working. (And for what it's worth, I don't have any Logitech software installed on any PC). User agent on the Surface (not working): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; Trident/7.0; Touch; rv:11.0) like Gecko User agent on my HTPC (working): Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; Trident/7.0; rv:11.0) like Gecko Edited May 16, 2014 by jhoff80
jhoff80 87
I think this is similar to an earlier issue, but haven't had time to troubleshoot today. I was browsing in Firefox earlier for the first time in a while, and was shocked to discover that there's a mouseover with more information on Active Devices in the dashboard. Maybe related to the since fixed issue here? : http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/7276-mouseover-popup-not-working-ie11-w8-works-in-ie11-w7/ Edit: Just so that this post makes sense, it appears this post was merged with the earlier related issue. njoak 23
Doesn't work for me on OS X; neither with Safari, Firefox nor Chrome. It was news for me as well that it existed...
