I am trying to watch anime(in japanese) and have set subtitle track 1(english) as active, yet it does not display.

Anybody else having this issue?

There's an issue that's been discovered regarding some text files that are external .srt files. It's been fixed for the next public release. Is the file your trying to show an external .srt?

Ok, so this isn't the issue I thought it was. I've tried several .mkv that I have with embedded subtitles and they are displaying for me. Would you be willing to provide one of those episodes to download for testing purposes?

No it is not, it is a subtitle track inside the mkv, this is the case for all series I tried(since I only use subtitles for anime)

Is it a known issue for non-.srt subtitles? And any ETA on the public release?

Also, I really really can't help but say

The problem persists with all subtitles whether they have an .srt file or are softsubbed into the file

Example of the latter one

Hello,

On android App :

Same problem, I have no subtitle display on MKV with embeded subtitle.

It works ok with an MKV and an .srt file. One question ? Is there a way to increase the size of the font somewhere ?

Thnaks for your job.

Regards

Bidus
