EricE 2
So last night I got a new hard drive and copied all of my movies/tv shows to the new hard drive. I then added the new folders to the media browser watch list and deleted the old ones. After this my media plays fine on PC and other clients but I am having issues on Xbox One (DLNA). On random files I get the error in the subject. When it does this, it presents you with close, find help, and give feedback options. If one hits close, it will try the file again and sometimes it will then work but usually not. Does anybody have any ideas on what is going on? The only thing that has changed is the location of the files. Things I have done, rebooted both the xbox and the Server PC several times. I have clicked rescan folders and metadata many times. Any suggestions you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you.
EricE 2
I found this: http://www.thewindowshelp.com/question/music-in-nas-drive-won-t-play.html It seems to indicate that the storage may need to be indexed to work properly. This seems to correlate with the behavior that I am seeing in that the longer I let the files sit, the more of them I can play and the less errors I get. My assumption being that it is taking a long time to index the files and once they are in an index they play without errors.
EricE 2
This continues to be a problem. Anybody have any insight? I can always get the file to play but I have to click on it 4-5 times before it loads. The first few times I get the error in the subject line.
