Killervette 5
Is it possible to pass dts and dts hd to a Samsung TV with a sound bar that supports that? If so, where would I make the change in the Samsung smart tv profile? Thanks!
Happy2Play 8242
Samsung TV profile already contains direct play dts audio in mkv containers. Is your media transcoding? May have to change the MAX Bit Rate if the media is have a bit rate above 8 meg. Edited November 26, 2014 by Happy2Play
Killervette 5
I have changed the bitrate. But the sound bar has not shown dts audio yet. I will test more tonight.
CBers 6766
Is it a Samsung soundbar you're using? Does it support DTS audio? I have a SONOS PlayBar, but it doesn't support DTS.

No, its a Vizio soundbar. I use optical pass through from the TV. DTS will work if I use the MB3 Smart TV app, just not DLNA.
Killervette 5
Things are working fine now. Bitrate change was all that was needed after all.
