tmb4016 86
Hi - like the new filters in latest server build. Couple of slight issue which I now see mainly to do with my metadata - when I expand the Tags option the list gets quite long and I cannot scroll down this list. I need to tidy up my tags to minimise the issue but I am sure people will encounter this as well. Is there a scroll option on this list There is a video type filter. - where is this been populated from. I cannot see it in the metadata editor and it does not always match what is in the Type filed in the XML. Any pointers would be appreciated. Luke 37008
video type is pulled from actual video types. tags are user-defined and thus there generally aren't many, however in the early days of media browser server we were incorrectly saving plot keywords as tags, which is probably why you have a lot of them. tmb4016 86
Thanks for the info Luke. With regard to tags - that probably explains the large number of odd tags that are in the list. I need to clean up. JHowever the 'scroll' issue would still occur. ie Years if I expand the year section the number of years is such that the list goes off the page and as such I cannot select the appropriate year. The view/sort/filter window needs to be scrollable With regard to video types I am confused. Do you mean it pulls the options from the actual formats of the files ? if so I would expect to see the formats I've used to rip the media. not a list of Blu-ray, DVD SD, HD etc. I can understand the 3d may pull from the 3D format field but it does not seem complete and HD/SD can obtain the info from the resolution maybe. How are DVD and Bluray defined ? In the case of 3D it does not seem to be based off the 3D format as this only shows 5 films when there are 20 odd with the 3D Format completed. Any further assistance appreciated.
Solution Starkadius 219 Posted November 27, 2014 Solution Share Posted November 27, 2014 On IE and Chrome the panel can be scrolled when mouse cursor is focused on the object but not on Firefox (Version 33.1.1).

tmb4016 86
Tags are now clean and as predicted the problem of a non-scrollable 'view/sort/filter window is present. In a collection which I am sure is not the largest by any means the years span from 1937 to 2014. I cannot find a way to select say 2011 as a year filter. The list is off the page and not reachable. Makes filters pretty useless. Am I missing something to allow me to scroll this window ? Edited December 2, 2014 by tmb4016

econ 74
The issue does look to be isolated to firefox. I am seeing as well. Off topic somewhat -- when you browse to the Movies media folder via the web you don't see the new filters listed. Is this by design?
