I been trying to use Smart player to watch anime and it seems that when the subs arent detected properly and you have to set it, it will create a second FFmeg.exe instance and that will cause constant freezing till you kill the process. Its sort of a guessing game to kill the one that wont stop playback.

Thanks, just to give a bit more info...Its after you hit apply that a new instance is created. Also it will do it when you use the scroll bar to to navigate to another portion of the show.(ie skipping intro). So after all that i was left with 3 ffmpeg.exe running  putting the cpu at 99%. If you stop (also side note,it should be a stop button instead of Back...confusing because you think its back to the full screen) you will see at the bottom of the screen the show  in remote control view with oly the stop button but you can only get rid of it by ending the proper ffmepg.exe in the task manager.

what version of the server (Release/Beta) and Version

I am not able to repro this, can you try the latest release version of the server.

 

Will do and let you know tonight. Its as if it restarts the stream under a new instance of ffmpeg.exe when you hit apply since it reloads the entire video

Yes it restarts the transpose on the server with the new details. The server should stop the old one and start the new one.

 

Ok, i have a stable release installed on my other server, i will test tonight and post the results
