dark_slayer 103
Sorry, probably should have made this it's own thread to begin with, so copying from this post http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/13706-3d-naming/?p=153372 ... There is an issue MB3 Server's use of MediaInfo as far as I can tell. It doesn't observe 3D MVC video (stored in an MKV) and as far as I can tell it thinks it's a simple AVC video in an MKV In the "3D type" pulldown there is only HTAB, FTAB, HSBS, FSBS available. No MVC love just yet? Here is a screenshot of the MediaInfo output from one my MVC blu-rays. An additional field that should be used AFAIK to determine 3D (since MediaInfo doesn't come right out and refer to it as MVC) is "MultiView_Count" -- in my screenshot notice the MultiView_Count is 2 which is standard for MVC 3D MKV files Edited November 30, 2014 by dark_slayer

dark_slayer 103
It may not be 100% clear these are 3D files because almost every player will render them at 1080p with the exception of stereoscopic player for windows which will play them back correctly
