jluce50 118
I updated to the latest version (3.0.5456.683) and now I'm getting "There was an error processing the request" when trying to play certain movies. These movies previously played fine. When I look at the log (attached) it looks like it's throwing an error on the audio format. Both movies I'm getting this with have AC-3 audio streams, which shouldn't be a problem. theater-63553740173.txt
jluce50 118
I've had a little more time to play with it and this issue is happening with most files; movies and tv shows. Many of them I've previously played successfully. Is there any more info I can provide in order to get some help on this?
jluce50 118
Okay, I'm starting to feel like it's an echo chamber in here. Anyway, this appears to be bigger than just some incompatible audio tracks. It's happening with pretty much all files. I've completely removed and reinstalled MBT and it didn't make a difference. Here are the server logs and the latest MBT logs. Can someone please help me out with this? theater-63554181891.txt server-63554166474.txt transcode-65a2fc20-cd51-4933-b346-4ecc121b8261.txt Edited December 15, 2014 by jluce50
Luke 37060
if the server is transcoding your library files for MBT then you probably want to start there. look at your library paths and make sure MBT can access them directly so that hte transcoding can be eliminated. jluce50 118
So that was the problem. I had changed the IP range for my LAN and forgot to update the Path Substitutions . I am curious how this would result in transcoding, though. If the IP in the Path Substitution is invalid, shouldn't the server just direct stream the file to MBT since it doesn't require transcoding?
