densma 12
I run media browser Theater on window 8.1 through HDMi. dts-HD works well and DTS. I haven't tested ac3 dolby yet but true-HD only send out 2 stereo signal to my receive. is there a special setting needed for Dolby trueHD audio output? Thanks
WarrenH 16
we assume youre "receiver" is 5.1 or more; make sure windows audio settings is only set to 2 channel output

Zerocool15 0
Hey densma, I have the same problem you're experiencing, documented in this post: http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/13397-dolby-truehd-outputted-as-pcm-20/ Except recently after the mediabrowser and media theater update from the version that I listed in my post I'm having the same issue with DTS-HD being outputted as 2.0 as well. There was someone else experiencing something similar here post 94 and above: http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/13029-ubuntu/page-5&do=findComment&comment=158868. The solution for them was path substitution I haven't tried this myself. After trying path substitution all my files are now able to bitstream out directly through Media Browser Theater without having to use an external player such as MPC-HC.
