Vidman 589
Umm gotta ask why you brought it if you had no idea that you have to download and set up the server software first
thefirstofthe300 291
The only reason you would want a server is if you have most of your TV and movies on a file server. If so you will need to go to mediabrowser.tv and download the server from the downloads page. If you don't have any of your media on a computer, the app is useless.
Redshirt 1487
The Android client is expected to work in tandum with MB Server. You need to configure the server and add your media library to server. Once that's done you should be able to connect to the server with the client and access your media. Every now and again it happens where someone buys the client not realizing it's part of a larger ecosystem and that's alright. If you want to give it a try the community is here to help. If it's more than you planned for, you can email the address provided on the play store with the invoice number and I'll be happy to reverse the transaction. I hope you'll give it a try as the Media Browser world is a lot of fun.
Fr3ts 0
The only reason I bought the app was to stream media files from my phone to my smart tv,the app I currently use isn't reliable and I was under the impression that was a feature of this app.
