tehdartherer 0
I got a Raspberry here to play my mediafiles from a Mediabrowser server. Kodi/XBMC is running with the Mediabrowser addon and streaming generally works very well. Since the RPi is not very powerful the navigation in the addon is somewhat slow, but fortunately one is able to browse and start directly from the Webinterface. My problem is that the RPi is not able to playback some movies with DTS audio. One way to circumvent this, is to lower the allowed bitrate in the addon settings and thus forcing low quality transcode. That way the RPi plays them without stuttering. But it also degrades the video quality significantly. Is there any way to force audio transcoding more or less exclusively? Either in Kodi/XBMC (somehow deactivate DTS support -> Mediabrowser is forced to transcode DTS ?) or maybe in the Mediabrowser server. Thanks for your help! im85288 1493
In Kodi you can set the Audio Output to deliver what your system is capable off. So if you cannot deal with DTS you need to deselect that option in the audio settings.
