Trailers and Trailers Plugin

I have at least 1200 trailers downloaded to the movie folders for as many movies.

They are named correctly as Movie name (2013)-trailers.ext

 

I have installed the trailers plugin. Did not enable "Enable movie trailer archive" or the "Download trailers into my movie folder" yet as i all ready have the trailer downloaded.

 

If i go to the Movie section it list my movies and if i look at the details it show the movie has a trailer.

If i select trailer section while in the movie section it does not show any trailers. It displays a message

"No trailers found. Install the Trailer channel plugin to import a library of internet trailers."

 

So i know the library scan found the trailers as they show up in the movie detail.

 

Do i need to set up the plugin to "Enable movie trailer archive" to see trailer in the trailer section.

Or is there something else i am missing.

Well it might be operator error.

 

I installed the trailers plugin long ago but never used it. I got the trailers this week, but after looking around is see the trailer plugin requires supporter status or purchase.

 

The trial period for this feature has expired

This plugin will require an active supporter membership after the 14 day free trial.

 

So may be that is what is going on. I am not sure how it should be working so i don't know how to get the trailer listed under the trailers section in the Movies sections.

I don't believe local trailers will show up in that list.

I am starting to see that. When i call up a movies library in the web client i get the main sections across the top

In the trailers section i get the message about "No trailers found. Install the Trailer channel plugin to import a library of internet trailers."

So i see that plugin would list trailers there from the internet. I find no way to remove the trailers section and even after removing the plugin that section is still listed even though it is empty. But this is only in the Web GUI not the MBC. I think i remember after i installed the trailers plugin in MBC i had a trailers section and i did watch some trailer for movies i did not have and that was cool. I seen last night trailer plugin no longer worked in MBC, so i need to buy that plugin for that feature. No biggy.

Ya I have only local trailers and have never even installed the plugin and the section is always there, would be nice to be able to get rid of it if it won't show local ones.
