Tester 45
Cheese, possible future request.. Any chance you could add automatic background trailer playback once an item is selected ? The Crystal plugin had such functionality, something similar to this. Thanks Tester
ebr 14902
MBC provides this in the core already. Enable "Active Backgrounds" and "Play Local Trailers as Background" under View Options.

As @@ebr states and as I have previously you need to select the option. How are you getting your trailers? Is the naming convention correct for the trailer(it should be moviename-trailer.ext When you enter a movie does it show the option to play a trailer in the bottom menu strip? Tester 45
ebr, I had those two options selected and still no play. I unchecked them, restarted mbc, then checked them again and now the trailers are playing. However, games are still not auto playing trailers, the TRAILERS tab in the menu strip does show up and will play manually. I dug around and cannot figure out how to get GB to play trailers, I know it did previously.
ebr 14902
Yeah, I guess the GB plug-in will have to be modified to work with the new system.
Tester 45
ebr, not a big priority but I would like to see this happen at some point.. I am surprised it has not been brought up. This is mainly for all the kids that use my system to play PC games, they usually decide on which game to play by watching the trailers for each game. Or at least, that is how I used to have it. Should I make a formal request ?
