Admin 347 Posted January 23, 2015 Share Posted January 23, 2015 Team, Ever since the announcement of the Xbmc to Kodi rebranding, Media Browser communities, call centers and offices around the world have been inundated with phone calls and emails from curious users, all wondering the same thing. Will Media Browser retain it's compatibility after the Kodi name change and Helix release? Today we are here to answer those questions with a resounding yes. Kodi is a great front-end and we think Media Browser is the perfect companion. Our Kodi add-on team has done a lot of great work for Helix, including incorporating many of the new Live TV features, as well as optimization for low power devices such as the Fire TV. Also thanks to the efforts of IM85288, we've had a number of new people step up and help with some of the skins he's been working on. As always everything is open source and open to community contribution.
