Fles 0 Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 I have a couple of strm files that point to mp4 on the internet. When i play this strm files the will not play direct but transcoded. When i play the files by XBMB3C in kodi i don't see ffmpeg running. And when i play it in webbrowser or mediabrowser home theater it start ffmpeg and its useing cpu. Longrifle 33 Posted January 27, 2015 Share Posted January 27, 2015 in the web browser, once you start playing the movie, click the gear in the upper right corner and change the bitrate to direct. you can only see option once you have clicked play.
