PoBear 19
Hi I trying to add some metadata which appears to be missing from my database, in particular a season poster. The poster is showing as an available image to download but when I click the download button I am taken out of edit to the user sign in screen. If I select a user and try to do the download again the same thing happens. I'm running Version 3.0.5490.2 Thanks
Luke 37049
The fact that you are getting bounced out is fixed for the next release...but the underlying issue is something you'll have to look into. we are trying to save an image and the operating system is giving us an access denied error. PoBear 19
Thanks for the reply. I haven't touched MB since before Christmas and although there have undoubtedly been changes to my system I certainly haven't made and changes to the security on the PC. This is a standalone server that only runs MB3 server and MediaPortal, apart from re-booting every 24 hours or so, it sits in the corner. Do you have a better idea of where the problem might be or what I might look for? Edited January 28, 2015 by PoBear
Solution PoBear 19 Posted January 28, 2015 Author Solution Share Posted January 28, 2015 OK I've found the error message in the log. It's trying to save a jpg to a directory on another machine, after some checking it appears that the sharing controls have changed from read/write to read only, I've no idea how this happened, I certainly didn't change it myself, either W7 has taken upon itself to do it or something got corrupted, I suspect the latter as a share to another drive was still intact.
