I use stereoscopic player. Its one of the only players that will play proper 3D mvc files. i prefer to have the full HD 3D rather than side by side or top and bottom.

Might try that myself. I use MBT. What would be the external path player parameters in the MBT settings? Also I guess this would be set as an external player for MVC 3D MKV files only. Is that a file type option in MBT, I cant remember?

external path would be the install directory of stereoscopic player, mine was c:\program files(x86)\stereoscopic\stereoplayer.exe. i havent got anything in parameters.

theres no option for MVC unfortunately. the only work around i have found when i rip my 3D bluray to mkv and want to keep it as a mvc is to rename the the mkv file to mk3d. then there is an option in the external player settings for mk3d. i have a brief guide here http://www.awelswynol.co.uk/how-tos/media-browser-theater-external-player/

and a bit more about my ripping process for 3D blu-rays here http://www.awelswynol.co.uk/ripping-3d-blu-ray/
