WD Live - "unable to play selected file"

I keep getting the error "unable to play selected file"  when trying to play iso files or mkvs. The files play just fine if i put them on a usb stick and direct play from the wd live. Based on other posts I've already tried to change the Max streaming bitrate to 25000000. Under direct play i've added ISO with video and audio codecs set to all.

My ISOs are either direct blu-ray or dvd rips using AnyDVD. My MKV files are made with MakeMKV.

Server: Version 3.0.5490.2

Server log was too big to attach so I've saved it here:

iso streaming with dlna isn't going to work. any kind of iso streaming we consider expiremental.

the mkv on other hand we should be able to figure out.

This a lot different then Xbmc or any htpc app. Those apps can handle the full iso directly. With dlna we have to supply a video file, not an iso. That means the server has to mount the iso internally and try and do some magic tricks to accomplish that. Very high degree of difficulty. That's why we consider streaming them experimental. Some users have had success doing this when streaming to the browser. Streaming through dlna to be honest, I've not even seen anyone attempting it up until right now. So it is unlikely to happen.

ok, i thought since the WD Live could directly play ISO files you were just serving up the ISO.
