Tranquil 93
Hello Devs. Yesterday I finally got my 5.x Update. Now it seems that HLS is broken again. My MBA Logfile: http://pastebin.com/jDdZRWZS I even noticed that, with HLS off, every skipping within the stream results in a new ffmpeg server instance which is running very long by side with the old instance. This leads to a very huge server load. I can not reproduce this issue with the web interface (Chrome) so I imagine its an MBA issue!? Furthermore it would be nice if the logs will not contain the address of the server or short it down. Edited February 12, 2015 by Tranquil
Darren 0
I'm having a lot of trouble with my Nexus 10 on Lollipop too. The movies play fine in plex or MX Player, but they stop after a few minutes in MediaBrowser. It is a little better with HLS off, but it still won't play without interruption. Tranquil 93
My movies even do not start. I can not see a ffmpeg process is created at the server. Seems that transcoding never starts. send with tapatalk from my mobile

Tranquil 93
The problem seems still to exist when using an internet connection (and not a direct streaming LAN connection).
josh4trunks 70
I noticed this too. just updated my phone to CM12 (5.0) and HLS didn't work on mobile.
rostar99 2
I noticed this too. just updated my phone to CM12 (5.0) and HLS didn't work on mobile. Same here, no dice getting HLS to work on 4G. I have an excellent 4G (LTE) connection so its not the connection per say. HLS should work regardless of connection type. Also If I shut off HLS I get a green line at the bottom of the screen that I should be able to fix with overscan settings but there is no way to enter adjustments as it require hardware directional pad. Ebr and/or Luke (or whomever took over for android), anyway to adjust overscan in a config file on the android client or the server side till HLS gets fixed?
