Hey guys i'm currently having a problem with a my sony bravias DNLA.
So basicly music shows up fine and plays fine however  Movies and TV series folders either show up empty or only show the actor list that participate in the movies instead of having a movie file to play.

I'm running media browser under FreeNAS and content served to all my other devices plays smooth and without a problem so can someone help me with this , I'v seen the other bravia thread but problem isn't the same.

Aditional info:
It's a 2010-2011 bravia (I THINK.)

Chances are one of two things or both:

1. MB3 isn't recognizing your Bravia and using a generic profile in place of a Bravia specific one for DLNA

2. The video content you are serving isn't natively supported by the Bravia

Sorry for the damm late repply.

It's probably the second.

My plex box always transcodes the video to the bravia, so yeah.

Any way to make it transcode all the video ?

Please try again on the latest beta. There's a number of fixes for Sony Bravia's. Thanks.

The latest beta of Emby Server, 3.1.125, has numerous fixes for Sony Blu ray players from years 2013-2016. The changes will also be in the next stable release of Emby Server. Since I have a device for testing I am now able to test it fully and with the changes I've made everything is now playing perfectly.

It's possible that some of these improvements can be applied to older players or sony bravia tv's, but I do not have those devices available to test with, so for that I'll need to rely on community help. Enjoy.
