wolf359 6
Just installed mbt and server on my mates computer. He has a small ssd installed for his c drive and is concerned about the hd filling up with the files that these programs make. Can these be stored on another drive with more space on his computer. We have set it so backdrops etc are stored in movie folders but there is still a lot of info going onto the c drive

We have set it so backdrops etc are stored in movie folders but there is still a lot of info going onto the c drive The configurator allows redirection of alot of the paths...if not you can investigate mount points on a windows filesystem...however media browser metadata is one of the best reasons to have and use an ssd...millions of small files benefit from decreased latency and increased through put of ssd. Save up for a bigger ssd if serious about fluudity and responsiveness of ui.. Edited February 28, 2015 by ginjaninja
