Klaus F 0
Hi, I have MBC running fine on my Win 7 32bit HTPC but have problems during installation on my Win 7 64bit office client. At the end of the installation I receive a respond that MBMigrate has stopped working. MBC seems to work fine on that client but MBC Configurator crashes saying that MBC Wizard has stopped working. Is someone able to help? MBC 3.0.243.0 Server 3.0.5518.7 Regards, Klaus F Configurator-232015b150642c9c1d48caa5d0377f08f2ef14.log MBClassic-232015a980b26167164c19b75abd1295733df9.log MBClassic-Msi.log mbc-install.log
ebr 14910
I would encourage you to try the new beta version of MBC but it looks like something with the environment on that machine. The configurator is crashing in a Windows routine that is trying to create a font. That may be what is happening with MBMigrate as well.
Klaus F 0
Same again. At the end of the installation I receive a respond that MBMigrate has stopped working and MBC Configurator crashes saying that MBC Wizard has stopped working. Any other idea? ebr 14910
Same thing. Windows is crashing trying to create a type face. Is there anything special or interesting about the display device or fonts on this machine?
Klaus F 0
To my knowledge nothing special. This is an office machine with two 4:3 monitors connected through DVI. I haven't changed anything on the fonts unless any of my programs did. Can I reset this in some way?
ebr 14910
The fact it is an office machine and has 4:3 monitors is interesting information. It is possible your company has some special configuration or even that they are specifically blocking some things. Also possible it is just not up to date with drivers and other software.
