Koleckai Silvestri 1150
If you look at the images, some of the collection posters and discs are scaled incorrectly. Specifically the 48 Hours, 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin and Bambi collections in the image. What would cause this? I am using the Sapphire Discs treatment here. ebr 14862
Are the source images different sizes and you have the "Use Original Art Aspect" option checked?
Koleckai Silvestri 1150
Hmm didn't have "Use Original Art Aspect" checked. That made them all seem worse. Will have to look into the dimensions of the different posters. Thanks.
Luke 36886
it is probably the web client. it looks at the aspect ratio of each image, compares it to the desired AR which is 2:3, and if it's close enough by a certain amount it stretches the image to make it look uniform with the others. there's no setting to stop this from happening but as Ebr said, the Original Art Aspect setting for Cover Art will force them to all be delivered with the original AR. Koleckai Silvestri 1150
I'll just play with the different treatments and images. Setting it to maintain aspect ratio, just distorts the posters more.
Koleckai Silvestri 1150
On a side note, the interface is cutoff:
ebr 14862
I'll just play with the different treatments and images. Setting it to maintain aspect ratio, just distorts the posters more. That's an issue with those particular treatments because, when you set that option in CA, then it assumes that your final treatment will match the original arts shape. That's true in all cases probably except this one particular treatment. CA generates the images properly but it is telling the web client that the final image is a different shape than it actually is. That reporting logic can probably be refined to take this treatment style into account. So, the screen above is behaving as I would expect. If you bring them up in MBC, they should show properly because it doesn't need to know the aspect ratio beforehand like the web client does. None of this really explains why your first image was how it was. If you didn't have the OAR option checked, then all of the images should have been uniform. ebr 14862
Actually, I was wrong. I already have the special sizing logic in there for that treatment style so I'm not sure why they are being distorted in that view.
