Crashes when mounting ISO

I have Windows 8.1. It seems whenever I play an ISO dvd, when mounting, media browser classic crashes, and I get the error, media browser is forced to close. When clicking close nothing happens, and I have to hit control alt delete.

I'm using the media browser add on in windows media center. Is there a fix for this?

I imagine this is a problem at a lower level than us but please follow the instructions below to find the error in the Windows event log and post that and an MBC log when this happens.

Ok, I will look at that tonight when I go home. 1 question, when using media browser through windows media center, is that considered media browser classic, or media server? I upgraded from media browser 3.

Thanks

I'll need the Error from the Windows Event Log (that was just an informational message from the updater for WMC) and ONE MBC log that represents the problem.  But, like I said, more than likely this is a problem at a lower level.  I would be sure you have all updates for drivers, Windows, etc.

Would the MBC log be in the same location. I do have all my drivers up to date. Also, when starting MBC, a message always pops up saying MBC not installed. Basically the problem happens when playing an ISO dvd, I select to play with power dvd. Usually it mounts the file and opens power dvd, and plays fine. But when I'm done watching the movie, and I back out of power DVD, when I get back into MBC, the error message pops up, and it crashes.

There are no problems when playing iso's in WMC with powerdvd without going into MBC.

Would I be better off downloading the new EMBY Beta?

Try just using Auto play (select the checkbox in the configurator external player setup).

I'm out for a long weekend with spotty internet access.  If you don't get this figured out by Monday, please re-post in this thread to remind me.  Thanks.

Here are the log files you wanted. The one in media center didn't let me upload, so I had to copy and paste.

thanks

Again that is just WMC updating itself.  It isn't a crash and it isn't related to Emby.

OK, I was able to figure out a solution after discovering this thread.

http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/topic/4330-mounting-iso/

Basically, when I would click play with my remote on a movie, MB would mount the file, open Power DVD, and play the movie. The problem is after I'm done playing the movie, and I back out of Power DVD and back into MB with my remote, MB would crash. Well now I discovered that after I'm done watching a movie, when I hit back on my remote, right whenI get back into Media Browser, I have to click with my mouse a couple times anywhere on the screen, and then MB doesn't crash.

I would say this is an issue with MB that I have to click within the screen so it doesn't crash.

Thanks

Can you further define "crash"?  If you are getting a message from WMC then there should be a corresponding error event in the event log at that same time.  That error plus a single MBC log from the same session may allow us to see what is happening.

I get this message, and I have to hit ctrl. alt, dlt and close windows media center. You think the problem is in WMC?

Thanks
