coolspot 18 Posted November 18, 2013 Share Posted November 18, 2013 I know it's early for Feature Requests but I saw permission to create one in the faq section in the alpha post for MBT so here goes. Tried it out for the first time tonight and I like what I saw. I'm a recent adopter of Windows 8.1 after skipping Windows 8, and one thing I have liked in the metro interface was the fact that the middle mouse scroll wheel goes to the right when you scroll down. Things like that make it not as necessary to have the touch screen interface for Windows 8. I'd like to submit the same option for MBT. That's one of the first things I noticed when I went into MBT that I felt was missing, my scroll wheel did nothing when I somewhat expected it to go right through my library. I know it's designed for a remote as the post suggested so obviously this won't be a high priority, but I think keeping a similar control scheme to Windows 8 would be benificial. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I know this isn't of importance atm, it may not be a feature request but more of a request to be able to play around with the visual aspect a bit more, I love the whole set up atm in the way it's laid out but: 1 - Could their be a possible way of removing the "New" tag that displays for newly added items. 2 - Can their be a way of removing the thumbs up/down, tick and favourite options. I will never use these I don't think. 3 - Will their be a way of customizing how each view under movies displays. For instance, I've noticed that "poster wall" uses the Movie logo, and "poster strip" uses the fanart. Could I somehow make the "poster strip use the logo as well? PS - I am confused as to why I have a Movies tab and then a Collections tab. What is the purpose of having the collections tab? All and all, love the work, reading this may sound like I'm an asshole and requesting things, but if nothing happens, so be it, I still love the work and this community. The 'Movies' tab can contain movies from multiple collections. e.g. Kids Movies, Documentaries, Stand Up, etc. These would still be individual collections in the 'Collection' tab. OH MY LORD. I have just clicked, I may need to re-sort my media locations/folders to obtain the full benefit from this. I couldn't comprehend it at 1st, but now it makes sense. I atm, have all my movies/video in one folder called Movies. I probably should have a folder for each individual collection, One being animated, one being cartoons, one being porn, one being documentaries, one being TV etc. So in future releases we shall be seeing another tab similar to "movies" being music or something or rather too? because the only way I can play my music is through the collection folder.
