Is the option to link a soundtrack to a movie gone or moved?

Just tried to link a soundtrack to a movie using the TMDb number and I can't find it in the metadata editor anymore. The soundtracks I already linked are still linked, but I can't find where I would even modify the data for them either. Sorry, looked in the release notes and didn't see anything about this moving or going away. It used to be under "External ID's"

Thanks

For now, apologies. It will return soon in a much friendlier form, and support more kinds of linking.

For now i would just create a collection. It allows you to group movies, albums, tv shows, games, and whatever else you want together. For example

Thx it works !

The only bonus and nice feature would be to have a link from the movie itself details page but that could be for a future feature :)

Thank you for this quick tips :)

+1 from me as well, would link to link soundtracks to movies or tv series. The collection thing while nice is not as good as a client being able to offer this up to a user in one click if they happen to just be looking at the movie or tv series and didnt know the soundtrack was available in library.

I don't want to appear greedy after today's beta release of the versions on ATV, but is there anything on this?

This may make a comeback at some point but, in the list of things we'd like to do, this one is pretty far down.  That is indicated by the lack of response from your fellow community members here :).

LoL! then, it was more a question meant for either you or Luke now, wasn't it? Besides, the word "soon" was mentioned in 2014, I was wondering what the definition of soon is then :)

Yes, I understand but we adjust out priorities to some extent based on how many users would benefit from a particular feature and the lack of other responses here is an indication to us that maybe this isn't one of the major things people want right now :).

In this case though the option was there and taken away.  So it actually took more effort to remove it :)

I would love to see an updated version of that option too... linking any media item to another, soundtracks or a series to movies or collections... (Like Firefly linked to Serenity and vice versa)

Its got my vote [emoji16]

It could even be something simple for this moment, just a metadata field linking the two (even if this has to be done manually) and show a button "Play Soundtrack" if linked

Yes a manual field is fine with me if i can achieve something cool like this.
