Admin 347
Configuration Files 99% of settings should be edited with either the MBC Configurator (for settings common to all user profiles) or inside of the MBC config page itself. But, there are some instances (such as enabling delete functionality) where manual editing of the config file may be required. Configuration files for Media Browser Classic are found in the application data directory for the currently logged in Windows user running MBC.The easiest way to find this directory is to open a Windows Explorer window and type the following in the address bar: %appdata% Hit enter and it will take you to the proper directory for the current user. Within that folder there will be a folder called MediaBrowser-ClassicWithin that folder will be a Configurations folder. And, inside there, will be several xml files. One will be MBCommonXml.configThis file contains settings that are common to all users. Additionally, there will be one or more xml files for each user profile that has connected via MBC to a server. They will be named [username]-MediaBrowserXml.configwhere [username] is the name of the user profile from the MB3 server. These files contain settings that will be used when that particular profile is logged in. Edited October 8, 2013 by Knowledge Base
