MB Intros audio intro...

I used this plugin in MB2 and was quite easy to set up. I have videos for DTS and Dolby in a folder. The conifig just asks for what folder they are in, so I specified the folder. I named the files 'dts-hd.mp4' and 'dolby.mp4'. The plugin will not save the command to play the relevant audio video so it doesn't play the video. It plays trailers as I have specified, but that's it. Are there any specific instructions somewhere?

Thank you for your response Yogi, this covers just 'tagged' intros. How does this work with the audio stream option? Pardon me for my ignorance on this one. I like the way it was done in the MB2 version, it seemed easier unless i'm missing something. :)

I'm not sure what the "Audio Stream" option is, but each type of intro is explained in the config itself by pressing the "i" button next to it.

I looked at the explanation, it'd be great if the explanation was clearer. I've added the directory, but it doesn't work. It doesn't add the intro to the intro list. It comes up blank. Is there a step by step on this??

Can you provide a couple screenshots of what you are doing?

It is hard to translate "it doesn't work" and "it comes up blank" into exactly what is going on.  Thanks.

Sorry,

This is what I am doing:

I choose the audio option and I navigate to the folder (Notice it's not showing any contents within the folder):

This is a screenshot of the actual folder and it's contents:

And this is the result once I select the folder after it asks me to select ( I already set up the random trailers, but notice the audio format doesn't show up in the list.):

Do I have to have a trailer per audio format? Is it format specific?? The trailers are in .mp4 format, do they have to be in a different format??

Ah - you never get the second dialog asking you to pick the extension after you select the folder?

You using IE?  What version?

Can you try it in Chrome or FireFox?

I am using chrome - I haven't tried Firefox yet. I'll try it tomorrow when I boot the theater room back up. But yes... I'm not getting the second dialog... I just sent you a message about registering MB Intros under my supporter key... I'm past the 14 day trial so I can't test it until it's re-authorized.

Ok, I tried it in Firefox, Chrome and the dashboard didn't even work in IE. I'm not getting to the second setup screen for this.  And it seems that MB Intros is not working at all anymore, even with the intros that I had set up. Anything else I can try??

I just installed the beta and i'm still having the issue. It seems that MB is not seeing the videos. I'll navigate to a folder but it show's it as empty. I have MP4 format videos in there. Ideas?? Be great to have a tutorial specifically for this in addition to the tagged tutorial. There is definitely something wrong. Is it supposed to show a list of videos?

Do you have some sort of popup blocker installed in your browsers or on your machine?

No tutorial is going to help you because the browser simply isn't showing you the dialog it should.  Something in your environment is stopping it.

not sure if it makes any difference, but I see you are pointing directly to your D: drive, I used the network path instead and don't have that issue where the directory shows as empty... just pulling at straws :-) and I think it does stop working if you don't purchase it right?

Ok, i've tried everything. including barrettuk's suggestions (thanks btw...) Nothing is working. I can navigate to the folder that has the .mp4's in it, but it doesn't show any mp4s or any video's period. What am I missing here??

I've tried it on multiple computers, turned off pop up blockers, i'm at a loss here. The old version worked flawlessly, i'm not sure why this one is not.   :(

As a new user of this plugin i also had this issue but the 2nd time the last dialog box always popped up for me, so it simply took two tries, not really helpful in anyway but if it didnt come up i just clicked ok, and tried it again and it came up always the 2nd time.

Nice plugin btw, didn't really understand what it did, and then figured it required alot of manual work but for trailers and audio intro it didnt take much time at all.
