HTPC: Intel NUC 54250H 1TB HD for OS and recorded TV 2x HomeRun Duals Storage: 6TB unRaid array with parity Once unRaid 6 is final I may look at moving MBS to a VM on that server

z31fanatic 6
MBS is running on a Dell OptiPlex 755 with Win 7, Core 2 Duo E8400 processor, 4GB RAM, and a 1GB nVidia GT610 video card. All the movies and music collection are on a 3TB Seagate external HDD. It's nothing fancy but it does the job very well. The whole build cost me $97 (didn't have to buy a windows licence) so I can't complain. I also run XBMC on this PC. As an audio first enthusiast I spent the majority of the budget on audio. I have a Marantz SR6008 receiver, MB Quart Vera 5 speaker set, and a BIC F12 subwoofer (weakest link in the audio chain). This my main system. In the family room I have an Amazon Fire TV, Xbox One, Denon E300 receiver, and a pair of Boston Acoustics A26 bookshelf speakers. I'll post pics tomorrow. shaefurr 1337
Posted mine on here plenty of times, so why not again! Server/Gaming PC, running Windows 8.1, i5-750, 12GB RAM, nVidia 560ti 448 core watercooled and OC'd, Corsair HX750, FlexRAID storage pool, 11TB usable space. Full specs Here Server is connected to a 46" Sony Bravia 120Hz LCD, with a Sony 5.1 surround system. Slightly old pic, camera is dead, only difference though is the hard drive rack is full now and I changed out some fans. I use this for gaming from my chair when I use a M+K since the TV is wall mounted. Kids HTPC is a Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 500GB HD, nVidia 430 GT. Nothing special, works fine for MB and light gaming. Also have an android mini PC mk808 in the back of the house, and my kids desktop is a Core i3, 4GB RAM, SSD, AMD R7 240. Usually always stream to at least 2 devices at once since my kids are always watching something in MB on a tablet/phone/PC. Server never has any problems transcoding and handling games at the same time though. I'd post more pics of the actual setup, but.. eh, its not very pleasant. Once I move I plan to do a lot nicer job the 2nd time around

snazy2000 342
Heres an image of my current server setup (used to have a whole rack full of servers but since i moved i have left them at my parents) The case at the bottom was my old server case but it was to loud for the current location. So moved everything to the case above. Specs : Intel Xeon E5345 15GB ECC Ram 60GB SSD for OS 4 x 1TB drives in RAID 5 (Media) - Needs Expanding 500GB Drive for backups (Soon to be changed) 500GB Drive for User data 750GB Drive for ISO's and software installs an dump files. OS : Server 2012 R2 I cache all of the writes to the server in RAM using (PrimoCache) and use SMB 3.0 multi channel and 6 1GB ports to get a throughput of around 400Mbps (Depending on what files) writing to the server and reading is around 200Mbps. The server to the right is my Hyper-v server Quad core AMD (Cant remember model lol) 16GB Ram 2TB hard Drive for Virtual Machines 120GB Hard drive for OS HTPC to come
fantaxp7 190
My main setup! 65" Panasonic Plasma, Dayton amp for bass shakers, Emotiva XPA-5, Xbox One, Tripp Lite with AVR, Denon AVR-X4000, and my HTPC with core i3 My center channel hides nicely in the middle drawer. It sounds surprisingly great for being in a drawer. 24 bay supermicro hot swap case. I've got 16 2tb drives attached. Running Proxmox as the server with ZFS installed. The rackmount kvm is key, bought cheap on ebay. Avocent for switching between systems, a pfsense machine that can't be seen and the bottom server is for work back ups. Also the tripp lite at the bottom.
navanod 12
The lounge room, HTPC case is an old Bach in need of replacing, same with the old Sony amp - no HDMI! Server is in the spare room/home office cupboard (yep along with the Christmas wrap), connect via gigabit switch.
