So here's my idea. Is there away to have all clients get a message if there is serve weather in the area? For example tonight I have tornado active in my area and I would like to continue watching tv shows. But I can't because I won't know if there is something I need to take shelter for. Just an idea as I live during tornado alley.

I don't know if this will get any more traction but I found a weather website that appears to have a free api.
http://www.wunderground.com/weather/api/
I would help program if I knew how.

So if a developer sees this here and want to know how I was thinking this could work.

Server gets notified of server weather. Server send out a message to all clients playing any type of media at the time. Pausing the media. Putting it on the screen for 15 seconds with a rude and obnoxious sound. Then after 15 seconds or however long, could be a setting on the server for the time, automatically resumes playing media.

While my weather is pretty much the same 365 days a year (sunny and clear), I would love to see this added. Server already asks for location to be used for weather.

I think that option was moved to MBC a few builds ago because nobody else was using it. But I would think a server plug in would be most the best route in this situation, in my opinion.

If anyone knows a developer that would be willing to take this on I will dig more into the API.
