Error 400 when trying remote play

I'm a long time MB user, and I just downloaded the new iPad. When I try to have it play something remotely to MBC setup, it returns:

Error

Request failed: bad request (400)

I have no problems when using remote play through the web interface. My MBServer and MBC are on two separate windows 8.1 machines.

Any advice would be helpful since remote play is why I bought the app.

Thanks.

Still have this issue with the latest update. Anything on this?

We tested the remote functionality with MBC and it worked fine with our tests but I can review it again based on your issue. I can understand as a long time MBC user, I will do some extensive testing on it to reproduce your issue. Does anyone else have this issue or tested it?

I have seen this error to but it is when I am at my moms trying to send something to her roku from my iPad. I just assumed that this wasn't possible and moved on.

Interesting. I had seen some other people who had the same issue with the previous iPhone app. I'm not sure what it could be, since I can use the web interface just fine from the same idevice, but as soon as I try from the app, it does nothing.

Also experiencing this, from web browser is fine but fails in the app. Rather annoying as I love the iPad interface as a remote controlled/browser.

I have this fault as well, remote play from web interface no problem but from the iPad app get error 400

I noticed this an old post but only just started using mb3 since getting an lg smart tv so I didn't have to keep a pc by the tv and the iPad app seemed the best way to contol the server

I also get a message Request failed bad request (400) when I try to launch a movie from the iOS app on Kodi with the mediabrowser add on.
