ireme 11
I Do not know if it is the appropriate forum to ask this question but I have not found another more suitable. I have 2 raids of 20Gb each one and when I boot Mediacenter and MBC, disks are sleepe mode and expends time to show the contents , because they needs to spin up disks. Is there any way, script or any application to spin up disks when starting Mediacenter from sleep mode and so display the contents faster? Thanks in advance Edited July 19, 2014 by ireme
ebr 14903
You could probably write a batch file that runs at wake that accesses something on each disc. Other than that, I don't know of anything.

The Baron 64
Took a quick look arount the WWW and found this page, which asked the same question you did. It also provided a few possible solutions to your issue: https://teksyndicate.com/forum/hdds-ssds/how-prevent-my-hdd-spinning-down/146440
