TrackZ 16
There are some cases where multiple movies get released in a combo pack on a single disc. Many new Disney catalog titles hitting Blu-ray are like this, for example. I'm curious what's the best way to allow MB to handle these. The easy way would be to pay the price in storage and just replicate the file. That way it can have multiple entries in the library for each movie on the disc. It's simple and works and achieves the desired result. That can add up in terms of storage requirements though. My other thought was to make a symbolic link. That should result in MB seeing two different files that could still have meta data set independently. You'd get the two entries in the library nicely and wouldn't pay the storage overhead. My only concern would my intention to use FlexRaid tRaid for my media. I'm not sure if symbolic links work in FlexRaid and/or if they survive a reinstall/restoration. I tried using shortcuts, but couldn't get MB to see the shortcut as a separately manageable entry. Anyone solved this in their library?
